Compressive fabrics prototype

Prototype for pressure measurement of compression fabrics: In this project, my main task was to design and manufacture the prototype PCB (housed inside the 3D printed red body) to collect and display the pressure data collected by specialized piezoelectric pressure sensors; the white silicon cylinder has sensors integrated within its structure and aims to emulate the arm of a person affected by burns to determine the performance of compressive tissues in the treatment of burns. This project was a collaboration with Coaniquem.
Half section view of the described prototype. The PCB can be seen below the cylinder structure.
3D CAD of the PCB. It uses an ESP32 - based microcontroller to recieve and display the sensors' pressure values on the OLED screen. I also did the programming for this microcontroller to display the corresponding values in mmHg. Once done, the CAD was sent to the design and ergonomics team to develop and 3D print the case for the prototype.
Functional prototype, being tested by Coaniquem's staff.
